For almost a century now Jharia coal mines have been burning in the state of Jharkhand, India. It's one of the largest coal mines in Asia. As the fires spread at a rate of five to six meters a month, thousands of people live with the ground beneath them burning every day.

International Award Winning Photojournalist and Multimedia Producer Brent Foster splits his time focusing on wedding photography in Windsor, Toronto, and London Ontario, and beyond alongside running a portrait and commercial studio in his hometown Wallaceburg in the heart of Southwestern Ontario. Foster worked in more than 15 countries for clients such as the New York Times, and TIME, before deciding to return to his hometown to set up shop when he met a girl, fell in love, and well, lived happily ever after:)
